Love & Conciousness

So I just read a quote by my hermana, and I've come to a sort of philosophical "epiphany":

"I don't believe in commitment. That's like giving somebody the responsibility
of your happiness, like 'here, make sure that all my orgasms are great, that I
have somebody to hold on cold winter nights, & just assure me that if
anybody messes with me, you'll beat them up.' Other than that, I don't see the
point of marriage. But when I need my love, I get my love." -Michelle Rodriguez.

I don't believe a person is ever truly "in love", I think one just becomes conscious.

Learning to live outside of the reality or collective the Dream. When a person describes how they feel when they are "in love" is exactly a description of consciousness. To be open, to SEE things in a different light, having an inner calm and peace. No one is responsible for someone else's happiness. Happiness is just a term we equate with inner peace, a state of Nirvana. When things are in balance and we're able to perceive things and look past the 3 dimensions, we begin to realize the interconnectedness of ourselves (our Light) and the Universe. All "we" (people) are, is Light. Energy. When you become conscious, you can see this Energy, you can feel it with every fiber of your Being. The manifestation of this is the feeling that we term Love, Joy, Peace, Happiness, Calm, and Gratitude. To be open to the forces that naturally exist, that have formed our physical world, means that we understand that we are everything and nothing at the same time.

Commitment, just like everything else is fluid. Fidelity to one person, place or thing is fluid, not static. Even people who have lived in one place thier whole life eventually travel somewhere that is not home. They see a world that is different, and full and vibrant. This is not to say that cheating or infidelity is right, I am stating that to be static, in anything, stops Light from growing, evolving, and shining.

You can be co-conscious with another person and share a beautiful relationship, no matter what it is, but every relationship changes. Change is not a bad thing. Change is natural. Who you are today, right now in this moment, is not the person you were yesterday, not the person you will be tomorrow, and not the person 10 minutes ago, and that is perfect. The strength of the Light and Force within is all dependent on how conscious YOU are. Consciousness is the realization and a break from the incessant thought noise and ego in your mind that tries to define you.

Who are you?

You are not your body, your material possessions, your thoughts or your actions. You are Energy. Light. Love. Peace and Happiness. All of those things are fluid and in direct relation to the Universal Being (if you want to call it God, that's fine, just don't think of some guy up in Heaven because that is not God, that's a myth). You and I are everything and nothing all at the same time. Become conscious and live a peaceful life. We have the power and control of our own realities (our Dream of life), and the ability to become conscious, and our ability to do that is not reliant on another person, only ourselves. You get real love, true love, only from yourself. From your state of Awareness and Being. Conciouseness.

Fear of Success?

I picked up The Mastery of Love this weekend, the second book by Don Miguel Ruiz (one of my favorite authors), and of course I am intellectually devouring it. It re-introduced me to the idea of mitote or Dream World as described by the ancient Toltecs. Ok, I have a confession, every once in a while if get engrossed in the ideologies of free thinking. In which I examine the mysteries of life through books, videos, quotes, yoga and other various things. The basic explanation of the mitote is the Dream reality we have all created for ourselves. Basically what we perceive as real is nothing more than what our minds have dreamed up...we make our own reality. That sounds pretty harsh sometimes when I think about. I try not to think about or focus on the lack in my life because let's face it, the more we focus on is the more of what we get. So, if we create our own realities in this collective Dream state, why do certain things matter? Why do we fear things?

First off, I hate the word "fear". I don't believe in it because really there is no such thing. Fear is what we give the name to an emotion that makes us doubt ourselves. We should never do this. When you break it down, it makes no sense! How can you "fear" something you have created? You can't. You know what "it" is, what you want, etc... you're just doubting your ability (for whatever reason). Herein lies my current (albeit a recurring life theme) situation. I doubt myself constantly, and it makes me wonder if I am failing myself. One of the things that I doubt (replacing the word fear) is success. Crazy to think right?! Yeah success....kind of trippy. I mean we all think we want it (I am going by the standard capitalist definition here); the money, cars, power, ability, control, adoration, privilege. But really think about it. Could you handle it? Everyone loves you when they're winning, but more people HATE you when you're failing. The doubt keeps me at a distance from the possibility of absolute success. Its been this way my whole life. That responsibility is...STRESSFUL! How can this be stressful in a world I create? Simply. Its not just MY world. Its also a world of collective thinkers, a collective Dream. This doesn't mean I can't surround myself with like-minded people...living in a like-minded Dream. I believe this "doubt" is what is standing between me and greatness. But is it just me? What happens when you work, and work, and toil, yet there are little or no results? You get tired. Worn. Stressed.

I believe the answer lies within us and within the Dream itself. If we control our minds, thoughts, and make our own choices, we create our dream. Remove doubt and worry, and control the Dream. Interesting.
